Mallory WOODBURN (Special)-Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thurs day at the JUngo-Cornwell Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Edith B. Mallory, 48, who died at her home, 945 S. Pacific Highway, Tuesday after a long illness. Rev. Robert E. Van ' will conduct the service. Burial j will be in Belle Passi Cemetery. Mrs. Mallory was born at Fort I Worth, Texas and had lived at ; Woodburn for two years 'coming ; here from Denver, Colo. Surviving arc her husband, Newton, Woodburn;, a daughter, Donna, Woodburn, and her father, Dr. Bruce Allison, Texas. Salem Tuesday, and when they were entertained at dinner Tues day night at the Marion there were indications that many (rom Salem will accept their invitation to Victoria's blossom festival sea son from April 28 to May 12. During that time, the Victorians said, 40 private gardens will wel come all visitors. The tour ot the Canadians is not alone to extend the invitation io Oregonians, but is also a good-will excursion, said Ken Lowndes, representing the Victoria Chamber of Commerce, who was chairman of the visiting group. The people of the States, he said, have shown many courtesies and expressed their friendship in many ways for a century, and the neigh bors' to the north are appreciative ofNt. The Victorians arrived in mid afternoon from Portland where they had spent the previous night and were much entertained. Upon arrival here they were greeted at the State House by Gov. Robert D. Holmes, and were then escorted on tours of the state buildings and grounds by representatives of the Salem Chamber oi uommcrcc, with Claude A. Miller, chamber president, as official host. , At the dinner later at the Marion the visitors presented their hosts Henry Bauder Rites Thursday Funeral services will be held at the Virgil T. Golden chape! Thurs day afiernoon at 1:30 o'clock for Henry Bauder, who died at a local hospital Tuesday. Rev. Walter Voss will officiate at the services and interment will be in Belcrest Memorial Park. Bauder, who for the past W years had made his home with his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Holsing, 1280 Ne braska St., died from a heart ail ment. A retired grain dealer in South Dakota, Bauder was born July 15, 1880, in Freeman, S.D. He was! married at Java, S.D., December 24, 1907 to Elizabeth Kramer. She died in 1948. Bauder was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Eloise E. Holsing, Salem and Mrs, Johanna Askegaard, Pas co, Wash,; a son, Arnold Bauder, Ashland; a brother, William Bau der, Selby, S.D.; a sister, Mrs, Lydia Wollf, Java, S.D.; and sev en grandchildren. 17 Pass Real Estate Broker Examinations Seventeen Oregon residents pass ed an examination for brokers licenses held last month, the state real estate commissioners oltice announced Tuesday. Mclnlurff Dies Tuesday John Willard Mclnlurff, 68, Coos Bay attorney who died Tuesday, lived in Salem dtirinR his youth and until completion of his college work and his admission to the bar. Funeral services will be Thurs day at 11 a.m. at the Mills Mortu ary in Coos Bay with interment in Sunset Cemetery. While living in Salem Mclnturft was employed for a time in the advertising department of the Cap ital Journal.
